Having met at college, brothers in blood, Rakta are a bass music duo from the south of England who've already had support from Melita Dennett on her BBC Introducing: South show.

Now these best friends are ready to unleash their debut EP for Demon Dub and it's packed with energetic bassline combinations and melodious riffs that will please fans of the current crop of dubstep artists.

North America's dubstep scene has exploded
in the last few years with its own sound and its
own brand of brash, hard-hitting dance floor
action. An integral wheel in the US machine is
Hulk, a dastardly duo who smash their way
around raves like a gamma-infused brostep
superhero. A mightily angry one at that.
Here they appear on Schroff's Demon Dub
label with a smashing double-header 'Sho
Nuff' and 'Truth' - two tracks that are sure to
cause as much damage in the dance as their
Marvel Comics namesake would be expected
to. Just whatever you do, don't make them
angry...

With A-list support from Skream, Excision, Datsik,
Schema and Hellfire Machina to name a few this
looks to be another massive release from Demon
Dub Records

This is Byterate's debut EP and he brings us two big techy, razor sharp 140 workouts. With a stylistic nod to the traditional sound of UK Dubstep, Byterate evolves the sound into something current and relevant. Both tracks are energetic and deep, and the techno influence, as subtle as it is, evloves the soundscape into a mechanical and tightly wound world of clockwork prisms and cyclical gears.
